Yes the art show was lovely. World Fantasy is where the artists bring out their best stuff... To lure in the publishers. I spent $20 finally getting the Alan Beck "Middle Earth Urinals" print. [I suppose the only place for it is in my bathroom.] I looked at but did not buy any of the lovely art with a "comma" in the price. [I was there to put the walls up Wednesday, and to sell the art off Sunday.]
Dealer's room was small, and I mostly left eye trails, purchasing just one book - Direct from Larry Smith.
I actually spent most of Friday and Saturday in Panels... ending with Rick Wilbur's panel on Baseball in Fantasy.
I snuck out to the Yarn shop, just 3 doors over & bought yarn. I ate out at the Olde Bryan Inn with their $18.25 3 course special [I assume that 1825 was the date of their founding]. Always good food and good value.
