When characters just just show up in your head like Athena springing fully formed from the mind of Zeus, it is equal parts cool and mind blowing. And just a teensy bit creepy, too. Not only do they just show up unbidden, but you automatically know their names and all sorts of stuff about them. The human mind is a strange and wonderful place.
