Plumbing Situations

Home ownership is such an exciting enterprise, providing endless opportunity to repair, scrub, wash and replace various perfectly good items that only happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Let's just say that I hadn't intended to spend the better part of my day, and with [personal profile] kinzel's help, cleaning and re-establishing the bathroom.

None of which counts as Real Work, naturally.

On the Real Work front, then --  the salt marsh thingy has been dealt with, I hope to ghod coherently.

Tomorrow:  Knife fight, yay!

Boy do I hear ya. I spent most of Friday waiting for the repairman for the washer AND the dishwasher. Then the cleanup afterward. And of course the reward was bleeding yet more money that we don't have.

Indeed, the joys of home ownership... But it could be worse, Rolanni. You could be in the situation where, thanks to telecommuting, you spend most of your time inside the metaphorical Jefferies Tube that your office life has made of Life and, as a result, what need to be done at Home isn't getting done and not getting any better.

That being said, I'm sorry to hear about your plumbing woes.
