Alas, we've had a lot of egocentric generations. I must admit that while I've read a lot of Heinlein over the mumblemumble years since my mother first put an Asimov book into my tender hands (why yes, she did have to have One of Those Talks with the main public libraries about my checking out SF books from the adult section when I was 11!), I haven't yet read that one. At the moment I'm rereading the Honor Harrington series for the umpteenth time whilst waiting for the next chapter of Saltation and another Kris Longknife to arrive. And people wonder why I don't trade books in to used book stores. ::snort:: The only way to tell if a book/author is any good is by how many times you want to reread them. As I've always said, the Liadian series are at least a 10... as in reread 10 times without getting stale.
