Yes, I know. When I said that I'd read a lot of Heinlein, I meant writing by Heinlein. He wrote three non-fiction books during his life as well as articles on various subjects. Issac Asimov also wrote nonfiction as well. This is not uncommon among the early SF writers who tended to be be scientists first and writers second. If you haven't yet read In Memory Yet Green and In Joy Still Felt (the autobiography of Issac Asimov from 1920-1954 and 9154-1978 respectively) I highly recommend them. As well as being a glimpse into the mind of an intelligent, egotistical author (take it from him!), they provide an insight into the beginning and growth of the SF industry in America.
