Handy means I have hands, right?

So! Today my mad secretarial skillz were needed at the day-job. When I came home, I figured I'd get the chest-of-drawers-building started on the path of righteousness by. . .building the drawers.

I built a drawer.

It took three hours.

Three more drawers and the rest of the piece to go.

Betting pool, anyone?

Off the days topic.

I meant to thank you for recommending, via your books read list, Thirteenth Child, Patricia C. Wrede.

I've just read it and thoroughly enjoyed it. Now I've got something else to wait for between Liaden books.

As I get older the most distressing part of a failing memory is the inability to forget I've forgotten something.

I'm about 95% sure you didn't recommend the following in one of your journal posts. In the hope that I'm correct and that the cats will appreciate it, I offer this link: http://twolumps.net/

I also ran across mention of this book That Yankee Cat: The Maine Coon by Marilis Hornidge on catwisker.net and managed to locate one at the local library. A very interesting book. Thanks again.

You are very welcome. *sighs* It is a splendid book.

Mrs. Hornidge's little book is charming also. We have at least one copy and possibly two.

I follow twolumps for a while; get bored, stop; then pick it back up again. Not sure why that's so, but thank you for reminding me about Benny and Snooch. Such nice boys...
