Quick Updatery

As mentioned elsewhere, the eArc of Saltation is now available from Webscriptions. Samples through Chapter Nine are available starting here, free for the reading. Please note that the draft of Saltation has been removed from the web, in keeping with our agreement with Baen.

The contract for Ghost Ship arrived yesterday, was perused today, and will be mailed back to Madame the Agent tomorrow.

I need to type up my presentation notes and practice them. I think what I have is good stuff. I also think it's way short.

Epiphany! I can do one of the Ghost Ship Fun! Scenes! right now! I don't have to wait until later in the book, because it totally works here and I'm psyched.

But. That's for tomorrow.

Because tonight?

Is date night.

I'll see y'all later.

Epiphany was two days ago *g*.

I'm being good, and waiting to read Saltation when the book comes out in dead tree version. I'll probably do like I did with Fledgling and buy a couple of extras before I get the signed one. But I should have enough to read until then (I got a delivery from SRM Publisher this morning with the latest chapbook, thus giving me even more to read until the new books I have on pre-order start in March).

Yeah for datenight!

Is the e-ARC the same as the regular version? And do you get some of the extra money? Because I'm going to buy the e-version, but want you to profit too. :)

eARC is not the same as the final version. How much they differ depends on the book, the author, and how far it is from the publishing date. The eARC of Fledgling differed from the final version very little, something like a couple of words per chapter.
