I love that story!

It may be the most amusing book of all time

Love those books! I think Bridge of Birds is the best one, but the other two (Story of the Stone, Eight Skilled Gentlemen) are also fun rides :-)

Argghh my copy is locked in a box somewhere and now I want to go read it. Such a great book, such a delightful series.

Indeed, our very own [livejournal.com profile] alicebentley was responsible for making that edition happen. She talks about it in comments here (http://rolanni.livejournal.com/511608.html)

Ah, one of my favorite all time novels. Read them all and never a dull moment. I so love Master Li and Number Ten Ox. What a pair.
