I have an e-reader (Kindle), but I still buy hardcopy books - proportions vary, but I'd say seven of the last ten books I've bought have been hardcopy books. I buy 'em that way because I then actually own them - ya know, I can keep them, loan them out, resell them, or use the really bad ones for leveling tables or starting fires in emergencies. I think there will always be a demand for "real" books - I just hope the existing publishers realize that, and that somebody doesn't have to start up a new business printing books for those of us who refuse to give up paper!
