The Printer and Other Adventures
It was a grey and grumpy day which really looked like it wanted to snow, but was too depressed to try. I did the gym thing, picked up the paste edition of Max!'s medicine (good news there -- his T4 is below 2, which is where it ought to be, according to the vet, so we know the dosage is right), then zipped down the expressway to the great city of Augusta, there to discuss the Barnburner's with the ...oddly placed pages and various other SRM-like topics. The upshot of all this discussion is that the printer will comp a duplicate run of Barnburner, which is a Good Thing. The printer will also reprint all of the Liaden Universe(R) chapbooks, including With Stars Underfoot in its new, non-first-edition, light blue cover. Call next week, said Carla; we're right out straight.
At home, we took down the tree, which always makes me sad. I love having a tree in the house, and would gladly keep it around 'til Easter. Unfortunately, there were looking to be significantly more needles on the floor than on the branches, so out she went, with our thanks.
