A few days ago, I would have said that, after a poor excuse for winter, even by South Carolina standards, we were going to skip spring entirely. After all, I had unpacked my summer clothes and was happily taking out the mail in shorts and a tank top before winter even officially ended. I know I moved here for the warmth, but it was 88F a full week before spring.
