Weather

Am impressed with the folks commenting from Australia. It is super far away from here. 16 hours in the future from us tomorrow. Actually I watch part of a program on CNN every night called World Business Today. It's broadcast here in the US very early in the morning from London and Hong Kong. There is often a weather report from Australia which is really weird when one lives in UT/USA.

Here the weather is much warmer than usual for this time of year. I just hope that doesn't mean the summer is going to be hotter. It gets up to 100 degrees for many days during the summer here. And sometimes it doesn't cool off that much at night which is really hard. It's been very warm during the day here but going down below freezing at night since...we are up over 5,000 feet here in the desert. The trick here is to not have the fruit tree blooms freeze. Last summer there was a lot of fruit: peaches, apricots, plums, pears, grapes.

Good area for cats and dogs. No fleas and no heartworm.
Haven't had time yet to read the 2nd splinter installment. But am looking forward to it.
Good luck with everything.
