Lazed in this morning, and Steve made pancakes for breakfast. Did the renewal paperwork for the rural housing mortgage (this deserves a rant -- later), and vacuumed (though not the cats). Steve worked outside, cutting hopeful trees off of the leach field, and we took a small tour, considering where we might wish to expand the lawn, now that we're actively considering relocation.

Steve's cooking as I write -- salmon and yams -- a pink dinner, but a tasty one -- and after I'll betake myself downstairs to the SRM Galactic Fulfillment Center and fill orders. Orders good

There are serious things to get done, and bullets to bite -- all on the back burner for a quiet day of mundane chores. We must this year do the Will Thing, which we had attempted a couple years ago and then stopped in frustration, because the whole "literary heir" stuff was so difficult. We do, really, need to consider the timetable for a move and what improvements we need to make to the house in light of making it saleable. Pretty soon now we'll have to get with the next book; and RSN need to chat with Madame the Agent regarding future project$.

Oh, and I need to decide if I'm going to attempt a viewpoint shift -- to a Strongly Alien viewpoint -- in the story under construction. Something to think about while I fill orders.
