Given how much you & Steve enjoy reading out loud, have you tried markreads.net? Mark Oshiro is currently reading through the Pratchett books. All his videos are up on youtube. Look under "Mark reads [title], & see how you like them. He writes up a commentary on his site, & the comments on that are insightful & fun. Mark's readings are the only audiobooks I've been able to finish.
