Ostensibly, "Street Cred" is a Val-Con-and-Miri-on-Surebleak story, but! There are new characters and new situations because Surebleak is evolving. In fact, it's probably fairer to say that it's a Surebleak-is-evolving story.
"Wise Child" is a reprint, and as far as I understand your preferences, you would dislike it very much, as it deals with "new" characters, one of them a child.
