Be not afraid to wear shoes of a different color on your left and right feet. It is most important that even the right shoe fit.
Good idea to visit the podiatry specialist at a trusted shoe store. My favorite podiatry specialist even wears a white coat, and works at a shoe store that carries every size in a few...… OK call them 'old lady shoes'. That was where I first got my comfy slippers, which do not go outside, but often get slept in.
