My penultimate vehicle was a gold/tan ("Desert Rose") 1987 Toyota Corolla five-speed stick shift referred to with great affection as "The Crayola" (made in Japan, invoice in Japanese). I had it for 27 years. Traded it in on a silver grey 2015 Toyota Corolla (insert end section of "The William Tell overture" into sound track here) which is known as "The Greyola". Tx is not much for snow, but we do have some ground to cover to get anywhere, and it rides good on the highway.
