rolanniThe day started late and was almost immediately disrupted by the sudden onset of an eye-squinching headache. I countered with a dark room, an ice pack and a Maine Coon Cat, which handy folk remedy appears to have done the trick. Unfortunately, I'm still a thought bleary and now well behind on what I wanted to get done today, dadrabbit.
Last evening's movie was the Burton-and-Taylor "Taming of the Shrew" and I must say that I preferred "Kiss Me, Kate." Next up in the Netflix list are "Scaramouche," and "Chicken Run," in a breathtaking return to my usual viewing standards.
I did happen across the trailer for "Serenity" -- which looks almost tasty enough to be worthy of a theater viewing, always remembering that trailer-making is an artform that has little or nothing to do with the actual movie, my favorite misdirection being the trailer for "Hero." We will very likely view the upcoming "Harry Potter" in the theater (it being a tradition, you know, to do so), and possibly also "The Corpse Bride." That's a lot of theater-going (for us) over the next month. Hm. Might be the dates are close enough to schedule a Movie Day? Must do research...
