Steve's eye is bothering him again (insert worry here), and I feel like a wimp complaining that my eyes have been bugging me today (insert allergy rant here).
Still and all, accomplishments have been, err, accomplished. The Nameless Story now tops 7200 words, and Various Matters of interest have been discussed with Madame the Agent. A Schedule! has come forth from ConDuit, from which I am assured that a wonderful time will be had by all. No time cutting out dead rose canes today (see allergy rant, above). Tomorrow, maybe.

Today I was at Vancouver's SF store, White Dwarf, and bought their last on-shelf copy of Low Port (they said they'd just got some more in but they weren't out yet). They also had copies of your new hardcover, but all their copies are allocated so I couldn't pick one up, and they're awaiting more copies for people who have requested them. You're very popular here. (Or as Jill said, "Oh, you're another Lee and Miller fan.")

But we learned some stuff about caring for this last year and I think I'll do OK. On the other hand, if I show up at a convention with an eye-patch on, you can blame my allergies...
As to readers in that corner of the continent -- we've been hearing this for some time. We usually can only afford to travel long-distance when we get a GoH or similar invite to help pave the way...
