Mixed Results

Yesterday, I was sent home early from the dayjob for lack of work. So I was home by four, rather than leaving work at four, and everyone involved was much happier thereby.

kinzel and I had a belated lunch or a very early dinner together, watched Episode 2 of Tipping the Velvet, did some 2006 SRM Strategic Planning, and were in bed before 10 -- practically the middle of the day, hereabouts.

This morning started with a Kitten Adventure, which segued into breakfast and then a stint of order-filling. In between, I downloaded Seamonkey, a Windows plug-in and hey, presto! I can watch movie trailers on my computer again (they've made Tristram Shandy into a movie. It is to be ...amazed will cover it, I think.). Inexplicably, I still can't watch newsclips off Cnn, but I reckon I'll live.

We're back now from the vet, bearing a new batch of cold medicine for the kitten; I've got dishes and some other chores to do before I can get with the story-in-progress. Happily, I had a Revelation regarding the next scene, with Borgan and Kate, while I was filling SRM orders, which will make things very tasty, indeed...
