There's no place like home

rolanniArrived home last night, having braved several Snow Events between Albany and the Fortress of Solitude, including a nasty little piece of action bent on off-roading as many New Hampshire evening commuters as possible. Argent did well and more than well.
Today comes not only the very welcome check for the German rights, but the galleys for the Ace edition of Balance of Trade, so we are thrust headlong from our interlude of happy indolence back into the Hectic Lives of Writers(tm).
There will be a con report -- but later. Today, we have Laundry, omyyes, and the cuddling of cats.
For those interested, there is a giraffe
The young lady with the backpack is Megan, who courageously and courteously took charge of the Adventure to Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. In the backpack is of course the beauteous and charming Anna. Rolanni is the one in the cap, taunting Giraffa camelopardalis.
