Thanks -- and a Decision

Thanks to everyone who took time to answer the signing poll, or to comment on the question.

Despite the fact that silver gel pen on the title page is the clear popular favorite, we've decided not to go that route, based on comments from autopope, who has been there and done that, with regard to black title pages -- and on our own past experience of gel pens with metallic inclusions. autopope speaks of the tendency of the glittery bits to take longer to migrate to the pen tip. Our experience is that the metallic inclusions have an unfortunate tendency to clog the tip, and make the pen skip. Not pretty.

Signing in blue ink on the table of contents seems the next best place, and so it shall be.

Thanks again to everyone. And FWIW, we think silver on black under most conditions looks pretty dern cool, ourselves.

How about a white gel pen? Those look pretty cool on black, too, and don't have the glittery bits.
