CRYSTAL DRAGON UPDATE, AGAIN
All of the pre-ordered signed copies Crystal Dragon are on their way -- in fact most of them should have arrived some time back. If you pre-ordered a signed copy from Meisha Merlin and yours did not arrive, please contact Meisha Merlin at email@meishamerlin.com, since they have all shipping and tracking records.
Our last sampling showed the book in stock at amazon.com, BN.com, borders.com, and elsewhere online. Uncle Hugo's in Minneapolis still had a few signed books at last report. Uncle Hugo's takes phone, mail, and email orders. You can visit their web page. Also, our local independent, Children's Book Cellar, will happily take orders for signed books. Contact Ellen Richmond at kidsbookscellar@verizon.net. We have been getting news that various mainstream brick-and-mortar bookstores are now stocked. If you have a favorite store and they don't carry the Lee and Miller book you need, please ask them to get it in. Also, please feel free to add your review to the various online review sites available -- the more the merrier!
SHARON LEE NEWS
Sharon Lee's new mystery novel, Gun Shy is due to be published this summer by SRM Publisher Ltd, with a tentative August 16 publication date. The second Jen Pierce novel, like its predecessor Barnburner, deals with the adventures of a secretary-turned-local-newspaper-reporter in Maine. Single copy price is expected to be $16.95 in trade paperback. Watch the SRM Publisher catalog page for pre-order information in the coming days.

Date: 2006-04-11 04:39 am (UTC)Alas, it is not. Gun Shy is one of those fortunate books that had a title Straight Off. The whole Jen Pierce Sequence came complete with titles, to wit: Barnburner, Gun Shy, White Sheep. I note that the last book exists as a couple pages of notes, but it has a title. The book that just cracked 40 grand? No title in sight.
Oh, well. There's always Duck Soup.
