Her Implacable Graciousness has returned from the halls of the healers and is stretched at ease on her fleecy blanky in the puppy crate. She has indicated that she will perhaps partake of a light nuncheon of quail tongue and rose dew later on in the evening, and perhaps enjoy a viewing of "Third Rock from the Sun." But for now -- a nap.

Results of the biopsy, Friday.

Stitches removed, Tuesday.

While he had the hood up, the vet took tissue samples of bowel and intestines, to see if we can figure out what's with the ongoing stomach upsets. We thought it might have been an allergic reaction to dye in the cat food, but we've been feeding Basic, Boring Cat Wheaties, and things have not improved...

I hope it's nothing serious.

I have to take the Mickster in for repeat blood work at the end of the month--elevated liver enzymes. I'm hoping the spiked reading was a fluke.

It's always something with these guys...

This will of course be popular with Mickey. Hope the second test is absolutely normal. And that the vet doesn't decide he needs another, to triangulate...
