Hit the ground running
Wednesday, April 26th, 2006 08:12 pmAs rumored elsewhere, we are home. Penguicon 4.0 was a blast; they spoiled us shamefully and I wanna go back. Watch this space for a more formal con report.
Yesterday, we went to the printer and picked up the rest of the run of Calamity's Child and did a bunch of silly, niggly errands. Afterwards, we reposed ourselves with the cats and watched an Extremely Silly and Very Satisfying Movie, thereafter seeking an early bed.
Today, we signed chapbooks, spoiled cats, printed labels, started the laundry, spoiled cats, printed SRM catalogs and newsletters, wrote, spoiled cats -- you get the idea.
One of the things I was able to do during our trip was map out the next six chapters of the Book Without a Name, so things ought to move along a little more rapidly on that front. I really hope to have a finished first draft by the end of May, so it can cool while I do the revisions on Gun Shy.
