Wow! Looks like fun. I love roller coasters. I may have to revise my summer splans to include a trip to Maine.

It's not really such a much of a roller coaster, the Galaxi, though I admit it looks impressive from the gate. For one thing, it's completely built out of metal. For another, it's ...short. Mind you, I cut my rollercoastering teeth on the Big Dipper at Gwynn Oak Park and the Comet at Hershey Park, so I may be hard to please.

The other roller coaster at Old Orchard Beach, now -- the Orient Express -- is a mini-coaster with a deceptively simple track that packs a surprising bite. Alas, it too is steel, but the cars make up into a lovely Chinese red dragon, so I forgive it...

Well, the wooden ones are best but there are only a handful left. did the California Screamin' at Disneyland a couple of years ago. I admit that my heart skipped a bit when we did the upside down loop. I guess I'm getting older.
