Blossom of snow, may you bloom and grow
Friday, July 7th, 2006 10:29 am...Sigh. The gym staff has decorated in honor of the upcoming Maine International Film Festival. Mind you, they've decorated with movie posters from Doogal, Hoodwinked, Nanny McPhee (which I loved, but which is not the stuff of the Maine International Film Festival), and Big Momma's House, but I suppose it's the thought that counts.
To get us all pumped and ready to view International Film, the gym is also showing videos. Today's video was The Sound of Music and now I have Edelweiss stuck in the sound stage between my ear and my brain. I suppose there are worse earworms...
As reported over at
kinzel's place, we managed to sneak in two nights at the ocean at the beginning of the week, which was Beyond Marvelous. And the fireworks displays were nice, too.
We're now back home in the hot center of the state, SRM accounting is caught up for the moment, laundry's cooking, and I'm about to dive into a Compleat Read of Carousel Tides with an eye toward having the revisions done RSN. We'd talked about hitting the theater for the Very First Showing of Cap'n Jack (from which we learn that Rolanni is not the target audience of the Maine International Film Festival), but I inconveniently have a doctor's appointment, which scuttled that plan. New! Revised! Plan is to hit the noon show on Monday, instead.
So, what've y'all be doing lately that's fun?
