Forty-one dollars out of the spare change jar has been wrapped and will tomorrow be transformed by the credit union into Folding Green. Or possibly into Nuisance Money. I only have four-fifty in dollar and half-dollar coins. Can't do a whole worldcon on four-fifty's worth of nuisance...

Mozart, by the way, hateshatesHATES the tinkly clinkly little sounds of the coins rubbing together and left the office to go grump and lump in a basement window. Scrabble, on the other paw -- who, as you'll recall, Bob, was doing work-study in a pet supply store immediately previous to being tapped as General Supervisor and Calico of All Work at the Fortress of Solitude -- Scrabble came running and sat on the edge of the table, counting along with me and making sure the wrappers were folded correctly. She showed heroic restraint in the matter of smacking down recalcitrant coins, and only chewed a couple penny wrappers a very little bit. To make sure they were fresh, I think.

WorldCon prep continues. kinzel plans on mailing out the boxes tomorrow, which will only leave packing and obsessing over panels.
