High Wind and Weather
Wednesday, December 1st, 2004 08:07 pmI'm feeling much better today, largely due to 12 hours of mostly uninterrupted sleep last night. This tended to make a slightly foreshortened day, but since what we had on the day's weather was wind, rain, gray, rain, gray, wind... that's probably all to the good.
SRM end-of-month bookkeeping tasks consumed a good bit of what was left of the day; I also packed those orders which had come in overnight that did not require the inclusion of any of the chapbooks we don't have.![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
kinzel signed and sealed the Yule cards; and we shared some of the excellent chocolate cake he made yesterday, which was excellent with the vanilla ice cream.
The cats are all still pretty groggy from yesterday's adventures. Spent all day asleep, poor things.

Notes: Not entirely happy with what I've done -- I want really alien words for the aliens to think in which are also Instantly Comprehensible to a reader who doesn't think Alien, and I want them NOW, thankyouverymuch -- but I think the essence of the scene is there.
