I see clueless people
Saturday, April 29th, 2006 02:59 pmIt was a perfect day to be outside, and the flea market we'd bought space in was (of course!) inside. Let us say that attendance was sparse, and profits few, even though we both found remunerative placements for our second-best camera. I mention this in case it may be seen to have a bearing on my lack of Perfect Good Humor in re the below...
At home again after a short stop at the grocery store, and a quick check of email before toddling off to a nap, I find a communication from an Alert Reader, letting me know that a hardcover edition of Liaden Universe(R) Companion is up for bid at ebay. I click on the link -- and sure enough, that's so, which is annoying, but nothing much I can do about it. What IS toasting my oats, however, is that the seller has seen fit to scan the title page, thus proving the claim that the book has been signed by both authors -- and simultaneously broadcasting a very pretty image of our signatures out onto the 'net for anybody to grab. Gee, thanks, pal. Wanna put your signature up there, too, so I can practice writing it until it's impossible to tell from the real thing?
