Straightening Away the Book

How can an activity that basically consists of staring at a computer screen until words appear generate so much...STUFF?

So. All the pieces of Carousel Tides have been put into a file crate, and the file crate pushed under my long-suffering work table. Since this is only an interim straightening-away, the reference books have not been re-shelved; they, too, are under the table. My desk is clear, except for the odd set of headphones and an order to be researched.

Now, I'm ready to take on the Gunshy revisions, which I'm sure will be quick and trouble-free.

Ahem.

The chores that attended the day included delivering vinyl to our Contact, which was more remunerative than I had expected. Groceries were acquired; cat necessities likewise.

Tomorrow, SRM Publisher, in the persons of its president and manager of operations, travels to the Secret Metropolis of Lewiston-Auburn, to attend a small business fair and seminar.

Tonight, a couple more chores to do, then a curl up on the couch to get some reading done.
