Sigh...

So, I did something to my left wrist. No, not a sprain; pulled a tendon. The good news is that the thumb is not compromised, so the healing will be faster. The bad news is that last evening was taken up with (1) a doctor's appointment, (2) getting the prescriptions filled and (3)taking the prescription -- percoset -- which meant no writing got done. I had a note to stay home from work today, which I did, and alternated sleeping and reading, all with the able assistance of Mozart, who really excels at the sleeping part and has finally caught on that reading is a Good Thing in terms of Lap Longevity. I'm about to go back to bed so I can go to work tomorrow, because there are three things that must be done and I'm just the girl to do them.

In other news, it snowed.
