A tip from the Nice Lady who makes the posters

If you want to have an attractive and/or eye-catching promotional poster for your talk, then use attractive, evocative words in your title. If you insist on titling your talk in Old Obfustication, don't expect to get anything but Typography on your poster.

Work with the designer, not against her.

Sheesh.

Eight hundred twenty-eight copies placed, as of This Second. Three hundred seventy-two left for adoption (that's less than the current subscription base for Eidolon. I'm just sayin'.) When they're gone, they're gone, and you'll have to buy your copy at your favorite bookstore and hope to find us at a con to get those much-coveted and sought-after signatures.

In other news, the coyotes are starting their serenade early this evening, and there's a frost warning upcountry. Steve picked all the tomatoes that showed a blush and lined them up in the kitchen window. For the rest of them...we'll see.

Also? I have answered my email! No other writing was accomplished tonight, alas, so I feel like a slacker, but, hey! I answered my email!
