Coyote Moon

The moon is up and the coyotes are singing...

You remind me - last Wednesday the high school cancelled a number of after school sports practices and moved others to the front of the schoolyard because a coyote acting oddly was seen in the woods to the back of the school.

And Saturday my husband and I missed hitting a very lovely fox while out driving to the Faire.

And as Gracie would say . . .

Why was the fox out driving to the Faire?

And George Burns would waggle his cigar at the audience and shrug.

Amusingly enough - there was a fox at the Faire - a fuzzy in oriental armour at the Human Chess game.

I saw it - but since I didn't opt to watch the game, that's all I know.

(There was also a gargoyle snatching at passers-by. Again, I opted to go the other way)

Did you intend for that to scan to "Summertime" from Porgy and Bess? Because now that's stuck in my head with your lyric.

I don't like Porgy and Bess.
