It is 40 outside. Forty. In the SF Bay Area. That's just not right (for some values of right). And then I read that you go out in shirtsleeves and I think, "Does everyone who lives in snowy climates have all of the nerves frozen off of their skin at an early age?" Because I have to wear at least two sweaters under my heavy coat with muffler and insulated gloves and a hat, and sometimes I'm still cold. I suspect Mainers would point and laugh.
