Is there a list anywhere of genre shops you know about/have dealt with/would recommend?
How to phrase this ....
Um.
At the moment, if you want to be certain that your money supports the authors, the best thing would to buy directly from us.
The next best thing is to support the genre shops (at this point, we-the-authors are not likely to see any royalties from bookstore sales).
Genre shops we know and love:
Uncle Hugo's
(http://www.unclehugo.com/)
University Bookstore
(http://www.bookstore.washington.edu/services.taf?dept=about&category=locations&par=services&ttl=locations&page=1)
Pandemonium Books
(http://www.pandemoniumbooks.com/)
Missing Volume
(http://www.themissingvolume.com/)
Borderlands
(http://www.borderlands-books.com/)
Dream Haven
(http://www.dreamhavenbooks.com/)
Flights of Fantasy
(http://www.fof.net/)
All of these folks do mail order and take want lists
At conventions:
Larry Smith, Bookseller
Zane Meader
