Agreed. Can't decide if packing or unpacking is worse. Probably un.

I have this to look forward to--my office will be getting new carpet and will be painted, and we are each to pack and unpack our stuff for the contractors to move and replace. They'll do this in zones and each zone may take 2 weeks, during which time we are to find somewhere else to work. That's not so bad (I'll work from home), but first I have to pack...and I moved into this space in 1994, I think.

Oh, the office will supply boxes, to be re-used as each zone is done. It's just the loss of at least a week for packing, the 2 weeks when my files (and my office) will be inaccessible, and then who-knows-how-long to unpack...can't be too long, as the people in the next zone will need the boxes. Oh, the disruption!
