Yesterday's lesson

Imitrex Works.

It costs The Earth, mind you -- but it Works.

It's on my wife's list of prescriptions - you don't want to know how much she's authorized per month! It's one of the four drugs she takes for her migraines - two daily, and two 'as needed'.

She has learned to take it early - it doesn't work anywhere near as well by the time you're into a full-fledged migraine as it does when you're just getting started with one.

I'm glad it works for you. (It doesn't work for me, and has some nasty side effects.) If you're feeling daring, the next time you have a migraine, you might want to try half a dose. Some people find that's enough, if they catch the migraine early enough. It reduces the cost/dose and side effects, if those are a problem.

Small Blessings

Yes, it works. I used to lose two days (which I understand compared to many people's migraine's is trivial) and now lose a few hours. Much better.
