Direct Link to Duainfey e-Arc

The Duainfey e-Arc has been posted.

No, I don't know why the publisher is listed as Meisha Merlin.

ETA: And now the publisher is properly listed as Baen. Thanks, Arnold!

the blurb starts out 'Rebecca Beauvalley is a ruined woman'? I didn't realise that this is a regency romance!

Got it! It is now ensconced on my little zip drive so I can read it either at my desk or on a laptop. I suppose this is how readers now cope with power failures. I still remember when I had dialup, and spent a power failure using my laptop by the light of an oil lamp.

And so far I have recognized tow of the snippets. I'm afraid longer things stay in my head better than short ones.

The book was wonderful, the bad thing about reading an EARC is I have wait even longer for the sequel, I hope there is one : D

There is one, but a note in one of these updates called it "delayed".

I do believe that the Baen editors find Sharon and Steve more literate than the average. This is the earliest an eARC has ever gone up, and that can only be because it hardly needs any work.

I've been a line editor, and so far I have only seen one thing that could have used a query.

:)

I really enjoyed reading the eArc. My only question is this. Does the eArc end in the right spot? It seems to end very abruptly, though I grant that is a decent spot to pause.

Ah well just add me to the list who will also be buying any sequel of this that gets written.

Well...it ends in the same spot as the manuscript we turned in.

Are you also going to distribute the print edition when it comes out, or should I plan to order it from my local store( INdependant naturally)? It looks like something that I want to curl up with, rather than read off the computer screen.

Baen will be distributing the print edition through its regular bookstore and distribution channels.
