The Good, the Bad and the Cranky
Friday, March 14th, 2008 03:42 pmThe Good:
Motored down to Bath last evening with Steve, met our friend Ellen, had a few minutes' of backstage talk with Janis, collected our seats, and were totally blown away by the little woman with the big voice. If you EVER have a chance to see Janis Ian in concert, people, do that. I don't care if you have to drive all night. Seriously. She's that good. Also? The acoustics in the Chocolate Church are nothing short of amazing. So, another good tip -- if you have a chance to see a performance at the Chocolate Church, do that, too.
The Bad:
Fell on snow-covered black ice this morning on my way into the Library. I now have some neat and attractive butterfly stitches in my knee, and have been amusing myself -- and Mozart -- by sitting in the blue chair with my leg up and an ice bag in place. At least the Duainfey CEM is done. Um. Except for a couple places where I have to go back over it, one more time.
The Cranky:
Sigh. That would be me.
