Report on the Print Version

The text of the interview we did with Colin is substantially the same in the print edition of the paper as online. The print edition does include a nice color photograph by David Leaming of the Authors and Their Books, which I'm not even going to try to scan, and a helpful sidebar listing all Lee and Miller publications from now through the contracted-for-but-as-yet-unscheduled sequel to Scout's Progress -- and y'all are 'way ahead on that, having seen it here first.

In all, a nice job by everyone involved. Give yourselves a hearty pat on the back!

Wow! ...and this is why I'm not a writer. It looks worse in print than it did when I sent off the email. I kept hoping that if he wanted to use any of it that he would contact me and I could try to clarify.

In my cynicism, if I was from somewhere down the road, I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have used (only part of) my email at all. Sometimes it pays to be from somewhere exotic to get your two seconds of fame.

I hope that the article gets you the recognition you deserve.
