Dear Tiger Direct:

I have a Very Expensive Telephone that belongs to Someone Else sitting on the floor of my office, and the memory I ordered for my desktop has yet to arrive. You have not replied to my email, as promised, and no, I'm NOT going to call you again, so I can sit on the wait line for 15 minutes and then get hung up on by an overworked, underpaid, and under-trained "Customer Service Representative."

I know it's a long shot, but is there any chance that the person who is waiting for the cell phone has your memory?

If the universe was that logical, perhaps the two of you could just arrange a direct exchange and leave Tiger MisDirect out of it?

(..fresh from several frustrating "customer support" experiences that involve folks in India reading from scripts....)
