I would prefer a downloadable format over hardcopy (mobi or rtf over pdf) but will take hardcopy if that's all I can get. I'll pay more or less depending on how well I like the story and current cash flow situations. Regular updates are important to me mainly because otherwise I often forget to check back and then can't remember where I left off.
