I read it, and loved the world-building. Wasn't quite so fond of the story, but read it with a fever of 103, and would probably be happier with it now. (Not generally happy with much when badly fevered.) Oldest child read it, and promptly recommended it to friends. Couldn't loan it to friends, as youngest child was reading it. Youngest has stamped it with name, and is in process of pushing it on friends. Very nice book.
