We looked at the memory foam mattresses but found them very uncomfortable which seems an oxymoron I admit. We ended up with a queen sized mattress with a pillow top surface which is soft, but not too soft. I've slept on it for a year and am very happy with it. It's a locally manufactured brand, so I don't think it's available up north, but I might be wrong (Murmaid).
As far as the possible serialization, why not post it to the website again? I'm not a writer, but I get a funky vibe from LJ re original content. I have nothing to back it up with, except rumors about TOS which, not being a writer, I haven't explored.
