If you can afford it, get a Select Comfort mattress (http://www.selectcomfort.com/). They are more expensive than a traditional mattress, but they are WORTH EVERY PENNY.
My wife and I have had one for 8 years now, and any time we sleep away from home, we don't sleep as well.
