If you're likely to flop back or drop yourself onto a memory foam mattress, in my experience it takes a second or two to give. What it felt like to me was flopping back onto a carpeted floor which then proceeded to melt underneath me.
I've got a queen pillowtop Serta, and would give you the name of the mattress but that would involve disturbing a cat.
