Building drawers without the right power tools is a tough problem. (That means: a table saw or a radial arm saw and a router)
In any case, you should cut all the identical parts (for all the drawers) at one time--not make the drawers one at a time. (ex: first cut all the sides; then turn them into left and right. Then cut all the bottoms, then fronts, then backs.)
