Your phrasing indicates that, perhaps, the listing went live before you were ready... I believe as the seller you can add to the listing; so if you wanted to put in something about the letter to be signed you could.

Steve, (who has a better opinion of human nature than I do :) ), felt that the letter was an unnecessarily complexity and that the phrase "which you acknowledge by bidding" was all that was needed.
