rolanniMan, we should've gone to the ocean today. Maybe I can hijack Steve tomorrow; throw him over my shoulder while he's asleep, sneak him into the Subaru, and blast on down south. It's a plan. Not a good plan, mind you, but a plan.
In another news, we haz mail. The Federal Gummint details my retirement benefits *insert hollow laughter* and! an envelope from our agent, which was opened with much excitement. . .to discover, not a royalty check (*sigh*), but letters indicating that Ace has Officially Reverted the mass market rights to the authors. OK; that counts as good news.
The filing is . . .not done. However! I can see the counter in the kitchen. Yes, I'd rather clean off the kitchen counter top than file. Now I can sleep easy, knowing that there are no coupons that expired in May 2008 lurking in wait.
Our neighbor is mowing his lawn, an event that I can hear, but not see, thanks to the trees between his lawn and ours.
